The Power of Photographs

MERSEACA
scale down to happiness

July 13, 2014

I have learned and continue to learn many lessons as I build this little bitty house of mine.  Recently another lesson was thrown my way.

A memory is defined as “something remembered from the past; a recollection”.   A question for you is do you believe memories are important?  They are our life experiences, but do they make us who we are?  Are they moments that should come and go while we live and focus on the present?

It’s something to think about.  I pondered it heavily when I thought I had lost every single photograph taken of my house build so far.  All that physical documentation…gone. To me memories are important.  My images are for sharing, and also for remembering.  I think they deserve to be preserved and enjoyed, by myself and by others now and for years to come!  I’m a photographer so I believe in the old adage “a picture is worth a thousand words”.  I also believe that the best thing about memories is making them!

So, go make some memories today and preserve them in a way that best suits you….mentally, physically, or both!

Building Begins!
